After helping with the mini aussies since 2011 Josh's mother, Carolyn, decided to raise a breed near and dear to her heart. Six grandsons all within a 5 year age span transformed her selected name of "Grams" into "Gummie". So began "Gummie's Dobermans" when Evie and Sheba, came along. Carolyn loves to travel worldwide whenever an opportunity presents itself. Her travel log includes China, Europe, Turkey, Indonesia, Iceland, Thailand, and many others. Most recently however, her trips are more often to a fun, kid friendly activity or a movie and ice cream with the boys. She is a retired educator who served many years as a Geography teacher and high school counselor. Carolyn also works as an adjunct faculty member with Dallas Baptist University. Faith in Jesus Christ and family are the two most important things to her. She is a true animal lover and also rescuer of injured and abandoned animals.
